MRket Eton Shirts – John Cooper & Nikky Sportscoats
Eton Shirts are a Sweden based manufacturer of all kinds of shirts with a strong emphasis on ecological responsibility. For example all the fabrics are specifically made for them without any harmful substances and their buttons are made of recycled mother of pearl, ground, reshaped and colored into a new button. All shirts are made in their own factories in Europe.
Erik wore a light blue gingham shirt with navy blazer, and bold knit tie.
Of course – nothing goes without wristbands.
Since they design all their fabrics in house, they are able to create unique textures, weaves & patterns.
Seersucker is a great summer fabric, especially for trousers and so it was great to see a variety of different stripes and Bill’s Khakis.
Duchamp exhibited a partially lined silk lapel. Today, you do not see that very often anymore, though frock coats and sometimes morning coatswould have.
Nikky makes some beautiful made in China Sportscoats made of fine wool and cashmere. They retail for $995 but feature extensive handwork and the cut is very pleasing in my opinion. For me they are a good example of high quality Chinese tailoring goods.
Green seems to be becoming more popular. Personally, I really enjoy my green shoes and green suits and I think it is an underrated color that has great potential and I am happy to see it more often.
