Northern Grade – Men’s Clothing & Accessories Made In The USA

As announced yesterday, I visited the Northern Grade Pop Up Men’s Market in Minneapolis – a place for all things made in the USA. After the initial event in 2010, this was the second event for men’s clothing & accessories organized by J. W. Hulme and Pierrepont Hicks.

Just as last year, the fabulous warehouse of Architectural Antiques served as the venue for this year’s Northern Grade. Overall, there were both more visitors and vendors this year, which was good to see. Of course we saw brands like Redwing Boots, J.W. Hulme, Pierrepont Hicks, Martinpatrick3, Fur Armor, Duluth Pack but also newcomers like Alial Fital from Minneapolis, Dehen Varsity Jackets from Portland, Oregon, JM W. Mills sailmakers from Greenport, NY, Ball and Buck from Boston, Hellbrand Leatherworks from Orlando, Florida, and Nonnie Threads from Chicago. For a full list of all the vendors, please check our Northern Grade Announcement.

As you can see, there were companies from all over the country and since everybody brought some local beverages there was an impressive selection of quality American drinks available. Food was provided by Café 128 and allover it was a warm, enjoyable late summer day spent with America’s aficionados of rugged luxury!
