Moritz Kickhöfen grew up in Southern Germany and initially discovered his passion for classic men’s clothing through vintage music. For the last ten years, he has been particularly interested in the clothing of the 1930’s through the 1950’s.
Today, he owns a collection of vintage clothing from that time period. For Moritz, the idea of style is not limited to clothes but much rather he tries to live a stylish life, meaning he writes with fountain pens, furnishes his apartment with vintage pieces and listens to period music. Whatever he does, quality and sustainability are of utmost importance to him. Moreover, he enjoys cigars, pipes and whiskey. At the Gentleman’s Gazette, he will mainly write about men’s fashion of the 1940’s and 1950’s and its relevance to modern day suits.
Although he currently works in the medical field, Moritz aspires to start a clothing label for 1940’s men’s clothing.
