Northern Grade – Event
The NorthernGRADE is a men’s clothing & accessories fair dedicated to 100% American-made products. It will take place on September 11, 2010 in Minneapolis. Organized by the leather goods manufacturer, J.W. Hulme Co., and tie maker Pierrepont Hicks, you will be able to purchase anything from shirts to jeans, ties to leather luggage and boots, as well as bicycles and knives.
Other than that, Walker Lamond, founder of the blog “1001 rules for my unborn son”, will sign his book at this event.
Of course, we are going to be present as well, and an extensive report about the NorthernGRADE will be published at the Gentleman’s Gazette.NorthernGRADE

Fantastic Man – Magazine
The English magazine, Fantastic Man, is aimed at young men who are fashion conscious, while accessories like cufflinks are not considered to be very popular with the editors. The layout and design is very clear and simplistic, and at this time, it is issued twice a year. A one-year subscription for US residents costs $20. Visit ExpressMag for details.
Especially for young men, this is an interesting alternative to the likes of GQ and Men’s Health.
Prepidemic – new blog
Judging by the name, one might expect yet another blog that’s dedicated, pretty much exclusively, to the prep style. However, at Prepidemic, you can find a number of short articles, pictures and videos with tips, product & store reviews, interviews, and so on, with regard to men’s clothing in a broader sense. This means the horizon reaches beyond the east coast, showing styles from all around the globe.
Even though the subjects are not covered in every possible detail, Prepidemic is definitely worth a look.
